Hello, I am Tamara.
I believe that art has the power to regulate our inner landscape. Inspired by the philosophy of Hózhó – living in harmony with nature, respecting it and oneself – I combine the beauty of the natural world with internal human themes and energies.
What serves as a path to my own center during the creative process translates onto the canvas through form and color. The result is artwork that enlivens spaces, invites reflection, and brings a piece of nature's raw strength into people's homes.
Slow Art for a Fast Mind
For me, "Slow Art" signifies a conscious creation. One that demands time, connection, and undivided attention. By intentionally slowing down the creative process, I find a healing counterpoint to my natural dynamism. This deliberate way of working has a direct impact on my well-being and brings me into a state of deceleration.
While my heart belongs to free, intuitive painting, I also thrive in the other facets of my practic, whether it's designing murals, developing digital concepts, or returning to my roots in wood sculpting.
Giving shape to something that previously had no words is far more than craft to me. It opens a personal space for connection and different languages, allowing for a continuous process of unfolding and understanding.
